The Studio Remodel is underway!

 

   Here is a shot from the beginning of the remodel of the Boat shop music studio.  Don't ya just love iPhone cameras?  The "pano" setting works well for this kind of thing.

    

Today, Christmas Day 2023, I played my daily set of music out in the studio as the temps are mild and the sun is out and it's a nice place to feel connected to the out of doors but not overly exposed to the elements. I played with the door open and that was just fine.

On the Solstice, a few days ago I posted a video piece on Youtube, of a new song "Festivus Stroll".  It is seasonally appropriate and the first thing I have published in a while.  It's also on Bandcamp.  It seemed to be really well received by a few people.  It feels good to be able to spread a little bit of positive energy.

I am looking forward to getting back to the work on the new studio in the new year, but for now, I am just puttering around and enjoying the move into the new year.
